How Peaceful Streams handles website engagement and email subscriptions.
Peaceful Streams aims to collect only the information needed to operate the ministry website, understand general readership, and send communications that people have chosen to receive.
We may use privacy-focused website analytics to understand aggregate activity such as page views and which resources are being read. We do not intend to use analytics to build advertising profiles or sell personal information.
Peaceful Streams may record aggregate engagement counts, such as how many times a page is liked or how many times the website's Share button is used. These counts are intended to help us understand which resources are useful to readers. We do not need your name or email address in order to count a like or share-button click.
A share count means the Share button was used; it does not necessarily confirm that a post was ultimately published or sent through another service.
If you choose the Comment option, your email application may open so you can contact us directly. Information you send by email is used to respond to your message.
If you subscribe to Words of the Day & Daily Devotions, your email address will be used to send the communications you requested. Bible plans and ministry updates may occasionally be included. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in those emails.
We plan to use Kit to manage voluntary email subscriptions and delivery. Subscriber information is not sold to advertisers.
We only want to send subscription emails to people who have actively chosen to receive them. Where available, we use confirmation steps such as double opt-in to help verify that choice.
